HADO Coventry CIC exists to make sport and physical activity more accessible, inclusive and exciting for people across Coventry.
Through HADO, an innovative augmented reality team sport, we bring together physical activity and technology to create an experience that feels different from traditional sport. It gives young people, families, schools, community groups and people of all abilities a new way to get active, build confidence and connect with others.
Our vision is a healthier, more connected Coventry, where everyone is welcome. Through innovative sport, we want to inspire people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to get active, improve their wellbeing and build stronger connections within their community.

HADO is the world’s first augmented reality sport — combining physical movement, teamwork and digital technology in a fast-paced team game.
Unlike virtual reality, HADO doesn’t take you out of the real world. Players move freely around the court, wearing lightweight headsets and arm sensors that allow them to see and launch virtual energy balls and shields while competing face-to-face with other players.
For us, technology isn’t the destination. It’s a way to help more people discover the enjoyment of being active.
